If you're referring to Georgia, then I encourage you to actually read the text of that voting bill (SB 201, IIRC).
After it was signed into law it left Georgia with more flexibility regarding voting than about half of the states in the U.S. Most of what it did was tune down pandemic-level exigencies with regards to voting standards and then codify them.
