I'd agree with you, but teachers hold authority over students. They are the ones with power in the classroom. They are also ppl that students can supposedly look up to. So yeah, those with power hurting you really does have an impact.

There are worse things in this world than an asshole teacher.

I've seen much worse than a teacher who doesn't respect their teacher. Plus like you said they hold authority over students. They could call the f**king Dave and technically there's nothing they could do about it because it's not directly offensive.

Teachers can't just be fixed. You have to learn to live with assholes. You'll have to do it every day in the real(Work, Adult, and social) world.

School can really be a pain in the butt. I'm currently trying a social experiment on my art teacher that'll show if she's homophobic or not, if that's interesting.
