Heh, I've been lgbt for 35 years

I started supporting freshman year in high school... so maybe 25ish years? I really became aware, both of LGBT issues and politically, around the time Rumors emerged that Clinton would allow gay men and women to serve.

NOT that any of that matters. I'm pretty cognizant of my privilege and try not to assume that I know what it's like. In any case, it's nice to meet you.

That's horrible someone was so stupid that they threw a brick at it.

yeah ik. but it’s ok bc i tracked them down and beat em up. (he was a senior in my hs). and he also got in a lot of trouble by the school and police and he payed to repair my truck. (the brick broke the window, tore up a lot of the leather and broke the screen)

Good to hear he didn't get away with it. Once, in my city, a rainbow flag was taken down and burnt by some retarded homophobes. The judge prosecuted them from destruction of public property (the flag was near a museum) and made them pay for a new flag, but they weren't prosecuted with discrimination against LGBTQ+.
