Often.

My theory is that there are mods who hold memes back in order to prevent them from being seen in prime time. Or they hold them back until they can approve a few dozen immediately after, so the meme doesn't show up until page 3.

I have a couple of streams, and approvals are simple to do. This must be intentional.

As I suspected, after waiting in queue for 20 hours, I must go to the 7TH page to find my meme.

garbage like this gets approved, while actual political memes I submit sit in terminal limbo. There is a window of opportunity for submitted memes. Post too early or too late and nobody sees it because it gets buried.

I think it is because of the tags you were using and the mods separated the tags for some reason, try changing the tags.
