I do the exact same thing. It's perfectly fine. I honestly do it incase homophobes and those idiots come around. that is when i am a she. And, if you are non-binary you can lean towards a girl or boy.

Yeah, I use they/them pronouns when publishing things online, she/they when talking to online friends/texting my irl friends, and she/her in person cause i'm not out

I use she/her and they/them pronouns not because I'm non binary but because it's hard for people to understand my appearance online sometimes. I'm comfortable with she/her and they/them I just dknt like it when they use he/him pronouns because online my appearance is not feminine at all.
