huh well um i'll walk you through it. I'm sure you already have tried the right was, but lets see...

I'm going to be very thourough

1. Duplicate this tab (left click) so you can read through the directions while setting it up
2. Scroll to the top of your screen
3. Click on your username in the top right of your screen
4. A toolbar should appear
5. Click on "profile"
6. Click "edit profile" on the upper right of the screen, below your username
7. Right away you should be able to see your email address
a. below username
8. check your email adress
a. double check your email address
b. triple check your email address
c. check your settings (in your email) don't block emails of that type
9. Click "send email verification" (something along those lines)
a. blue text
b. next to "email not verified" -red text
10. If it says "Error; A verification email was just sent recently. Check your inbox!"
a. check your inbox
b. If that doesn't work, check the email address again
11. when you check for the email, make sure to check spam, updates(this is where mine was located), primary, promotions, and social
12. Open the email
13. The email should say something like
"Hello "Username_goes_here""

To verify your email address, click the link below (or copy and paste it into your web browser if that doesn't work)

https://imgflip.com/verify-email?email=YOUR_EMAIL&key=dNKyzexNeelET3slwuK9_Z3VfPc_YMFQ

If you did not recently sign up for an Imgflip account or update your Imgflip settings, please ignore this email."
14. Click the link
15. You should go back to the website and it should say "email verified successfully"
16. If not repeat directions

If you've been on imgflip for a while though too, that may definately be affecting it.
