Canada had less gun violence even before their laws. The U.S. has more gun ownership and less gun laws than Mexico but less gun deaths than Mexico. The US already tried an assault weapons ban which was reversed since the DOD research shows it did nothing. Trinidad and Tobago does not have gun ownership as a constitutional right and much stricter laws than the US but a 150% more gun deaths. If gun control works explain that.
