[Yume struck another soldier with lightning, the attack spreading to his teammates, shocking them to the point of severe injury.] "Their almost countless! There must be a point where they're coming from, or they're being directed from a leader..."

Akira *standing off with Sovi*: who are you?

Akira: I tried! It’s hard. I doubt I could beat Orion, or Sovi, so...maybe this is easier

[Yume nodded. Her eyes shifted to the night sky.] "Kahal, she once told me the strongest beast is Change."

Akira: *nods* Its just...it’s hard. Originally this was for a date. Now? I dunno.

"So you started this quest because your a simp," [Yume mused.]

[Yume held in a chuckle.] "I know. It's still funny though."

[Yume paused, looking back at Akira. She held out her paw.] "Don't fight him. He's the Armageddon King, and I'm trying to talk to him. I strongly think we can redeem him."

"We have to go to Veige, to see if she can revive someone dear to Sovi, Cardamon."

[Yume's ears flattened as she turned to Akira.] "I could say the same to you!"

Akira: damn. Okay okay. *starts walking and the sword glows golden*

[Yume finally noticed him and gestured with her paw to put the sword down.] "Stop it and come knock on this door!"

[Yume rolled her eyes, knocking on the door instead.] "She'll be here soon. And Akira, whatever you do, don't piss her off. Please."

[Yume sighed, her ears flattening as the door opened. In front of the doorway was Veige, who was actually a furry. She had tall, cat-like ears, and long, silver hair marbled with black highlights, bright green eyes, and two long tails that almost resembled eyes at the end. Veige wore a sleeveless turtleneck and black, high-waisted pants and a black bomber jacket with Japanese kanji at the sides of the sleeves. The mage looked at the two.] "So, look what the Crystal Beast dragged in," [Veige said with a grin,] "Now what aliment does he suffer from?"

Akira: gimme a break. I’m only here because she showed up. *puts headphones on and listens to music*

[Veige looked at Yume, then at Akira. She waved her paw in front of Akira, trying to get his attention.] "Hey, heyo, ohayoo."

Akira: hmph. *nods* I’m listening

[Yume sighed, flattened her ears, and looked at the lake.] "Now, jump in." [Yume lept into the lake.]

"Can't remember," [Veige answered,] "But from their descriptions, I thought of something. Average height, short hair, sword, edgy attitude, that sorta thing."

"Come on," [Veige said in an encouraging tone,] "Yume brought em in. They're a little snappy, but they're getting better! It's pretty damn funny, Yume says they were beaten up by some guy who's simpin for a goddess or somethin."

[Yume didn't return an answer, but the bright wave of light rippled through the lake, the most radiant wave yet.]

Akira: *takes out sword* showtime

"Help me with my patients, will ya? I got two, a Showbiz child who claims she's older than she looks, and a French Art girl. One's paralyzed, the other has broken arms. Whatcha say?"

[If Akira expected the water to greet him in the dive, he was wrong. Instead, it was a sunset-esc sky and a cloud-like surface, which he landed on. Yume was already next to a somewhat large house, looking around to see if he had arrived yet.]

"Veige won't kill you unless you kill her," [Yume mewled, stepping closer to the lake, grabbing a stone with her tail.]

Akira: *narrows eyes* why do you plan on taking a stone

[Veige's ear flickered.] "Lemme change that description then," [She retorted,] "Male, average height, spikey hair, blue mark of Orion on his hand, standoffish attitude when provoked, probably glares often, wears headphones." [Veige grinned.] "Better?"

[The mage shrugged, opening a cabinet and grabbing a cup.] "I am chill, I dunno about you though." [Veige opened the fridge, grabbed a giant bottle of root beer, and poured herself a generous amount of the soda before she put the bottle back in the fridge.] "So then," [Veige took a sip of her soda,] "Wanna help Mimi and Kendra, or not?"

[Veige pointed at Yume, the crystal beast was trying her best to avoid her.] "Ey, Dreams, go and see if Mimi and Kendra are up. If they try and kill you, I'll step in."

[Veige smiled a little.] "There, I knew you could do it! They'll probably be less pissed when you apologize and try to help, though Mimi almost has all her mobility back. She just can't jump yet, but she's gettin there."

"For this." [Yume tossed the stone on the lake, but instead of the stone sinking, it stayed atop the water, like glass, creating a wave of greenish light under the lake, visible to both.]

"Then go outside, take a left until you see a cherry blossom tree, that takes up up to the surface of the lake, take a portal to the center of existence, and go do whatever your god tells ya to do," [Veige replied, taking another swig of root beer,] "Cause I can't do what your orders command of you and my morals at the same time."

[Yume cautiously stepped on the lake, not sinking like the stone. Green light blazed with every step.]

[Yume pushed Akira back with her paw.] "Why? Cause you wanna date with Fang or whatever goddess caught your fancy? Wait no, that's why you beat Kendra and Mimi-Claire to oblivion. Is it because you were told to?"

(Carlos} Also, ITS HARD BEING IN 1 DEMENSION FIGHTING SOLDIERS AND IN ANOTHER DIMENSION DOING MATH

[Yume looked confused, her large tail slashing at an enemy.] "...remind me to ask you about that later, right now we just heard an explosion! You stay here, I'll handle it!"

*There are much stronger soldiers guarding the path to wherever the explosions are coming from. They're currently preoccupied with fighting some kind of living statues that you assume are the temple's guards.*

[Yume gritted her fangs, charging at them, trying to use the formations of the temple guards to her advantage. She sent a wave of powerful blue lightning at the armageddon soldiers.]

*The soldiers shatter and fade. New ones start to form.*

*One of the statues nods at Yume, then resumes combat.*

*The path is open for now.*

[Yume sent another wave at the new soldiers, then ran for the new path, nodding in gratitude at the statues.] "Arigato."

*At the end of the new path is a large chamber.*

*The god of this temple is engaged in combat with a strange girl with a quad-rocket launcher. Oddly enough, her missiles seem to be releasing paint when they explode.*

[]Mk, I have like, 30 mins at the least today, so I guess I'll be here[]
[Yume narrowed her eyes, recognizing the girl.] "You heard me, you Legionary. Call off the soldiers and leave the temple. You don't want to mess with us."

Mimi-Claire: "And why, pray tell, would I be afraid of a... whatever you are?"

*Mimi-Claire puts her rocket launcher onto a stand. It keeps firing.*

*Mimi-Claire steps towards Yume and pulls out a rapier.*

[Yume blinked, confused at the paint, but gazing at every detail of the girl.] "HEY! Call of your soldiers, NOW!" []I gtg, and I prolly won't be online tomorrow.[]

*The girl turns, her rocket launcher still firing at the god.*

*Mimi-Claire takes a duelist's stance. Her rocket launcher turns and aims at Yume.*

Mimi-Claire: "You stand no chance, crystalline monster. Now, surrender or face the full fury of my artistic talents!"

"Your art is mindless destruction," [Yume countered, the sword shifting into a defensive position.] "I don't want to fight you. Just stand down."

(Oh god, I have to manage one boss fight from two different comment chains, this is going to be pure chaos.)
