School is paid with taxes, it’s only 6-8 hours at maximum, teaches you how to read, write, and do basic arithmetic, provides you food and water at the lunch period, provides free transportation, and the government protects your right to education. Also, over in the Philippines, among other countries, it IS 13 plus hours.
