I have a question, because i havent leant much about this. What is a demigirl/demiboy (if you dont mind me asking) Because one of my friends came out as one, and i didnt know what it was. Of course i accept them regardless of there gender but i think if i understood what it was i would be able to support them more.

a demigirl/demiboy is someone who partially identifies as a woman/man. Demi means half, so a demigirl means half-female, same goes for a demiboy (half-male)

Can people be born non binary or is it a choice

We are born non-binary, it really isn’t a choice.
But not to confuse you, when people are born they are either a male or female, but in the future when they find out more about themselves, they realize that they’re non-binary.

how did you figure out you were nonbinary?

I never felt like I was either gender. Like when I didn’t feel like my biological gender, i thought “Maybe i’m trans” but that didn’t feel right either, so i did some research on different gender identities, and figured out i’m non-binary :D

There are a lot of genders, like bigender, pan gender, gender fluid, or agender.
And it is possible for you to be a demigirl, but either way, we would accept you :D

If you think your family is homophobic, then it’s probably best not to come out to them yet, just to be safe. I know that some people have had back-up plans in case their families do disown them, they would plan to stay at a friends or a family members house.
You shouldn’t be embarrassed for being non-binary.
