I DO have leans, just not towards a gender. Some of the attributes I'm attracted to happen to be more common in some genders than in others but that still doesn't mean I have a preference toward those genders even though it might appear like it. For example, I'm usually more attracted towards people who don't wear a lot of make up but that doesn't mean I am attracted to demi girls more than I am to cis girls - but it might appear so because more demi girls than cis girls fit my preference in terms of make up. I'm just saying that being pan doesn't mean you literally are attracted to everyone that has ever existed. It just means you don't care about gender. But you still might have preferences that are tied to certain gender expressions.
