My post was specifically in response to SNL calling him "Royalty" . Aside from rhe artistry you may respect, the manner in which he lived his life does not rise to being credited as " Royalty". That is all.

Most of those crimes you listed are incidents where nobody got hurt. That is what it's like to be black. You don't know shit about having drug addicted parents and sleeping under bridges and shit. And to go from the bottom like that to the top as rapper who invented a style and completely changed the game, to becoming a Hollywood actor all while having a criminal past and a target on his back. Unlike you this guy had a fascinating life story and something to say.

Nobody got hurt? Animal cruelty - 14 counts, two different states; aggravated assault; $400,000 in unpaid child support (bet they needed it)? That falls within your definition of 'nobody got hurt'? I'm satisfied having a less fascinating life. Had my challenges and issues but always stepped up and with a lot less resources available than DMX. I'll give you the last word...
