It is time to educate the left.
Democrats who hold political office either are lying right to your face or they are just completely ignorant or both. On the right is a .22 caliber long rifle round.
Clearly the cartridge of the 5.56mm is bigger than a .22 but the 5.56mm is only very slightly smaller in diameter than a .22. On the left is a 5.56x45mm NATO round that is used in AR-15's. Some AR-15's only fire the .223 round some fire both rounds. The 5.56x45 NATO round is 0.219" in diameter. Calibers are in inches. The 5.56mm, .22 and .223 are essentially the same diameter with essentially the same killing power. Contrary to everything the left says, the AR-15 was NOT designed to kill people. It is more likely to only be wounded by an AR-15. This is why criminal don't use them. 9mm (0.354"), .38, .40 and .45 calibers are the most rounds and they are fired by handguns. Handguns are used more than any other weapon in homicides.
