Many people are terrified of Dogs, Allergic to cats, have a fear of large predators, or do not like the kind of species they dress up as. So why would they do it? Cuz it makes them feel cool, Powerful, and safe.

I for one HATE cats. I have been bitten, Scratched, watched one give birth, and I'm allergic. But I was at one point a leopard furry.

3. There's a difference between dressing up as a species you don't like and dressing up as a species that you can't even look at without being overcome with all-consuming fear.
