Like 90% of this fandom knows ralsei is male. But did you forget about all the AUs? Ralsei may be male in the universe we get. But in a nother universe all the male and female characters swap genders. So yes, Ralsei is male. But there is also the AUs where ralsei can be female. Like how ralsei can have a blue instead of a green cloak. Or have a backpack instead of a scarf. It doesn't really matter.

But parallel worlds don't count tho because au's are basically oc's but slightly canon because they were accepted to exist in the canon world we use and know and because they were accepted the person who did accept it can only be the creator because they're the one who makes up for the fact that au's aren't canon in their world unless they are accepted to be con in he canon world if the creator decided to accept is as canon in their canon world UNLESS the creator accepts someone else to decide if it's canon or not in their canon world UNLESS the creator made a parallel world that genderswaps and/or personalityswaps or both if the decided to accept the making of a parallel world with those canon characters but becoming canon and placed into the story as canon and they'd only accept characters that aren't canon IF they don't have any ideas for the parallel world of personalityswaps, genderswaps, and/or both.

Yo so. Yes Au's do count even if they're "oc's". I do believe that you are correct with the gender/personality or both swapping can be Canon. But it is also gonna count as It still is as you said "Canon". Even if they're "oc's" in parallel worlds.
