once i had a dream where i couldnt wake up from and the dream story was that:
the dream people kidnapped the reality people and the reality people couldnt wake up
i jumped off the stairs to try to wake myself up lol it didnt work
then i somehow woke up

i want to make that dream a movie lol and also i think the reason why dreams do that sometimes is bc maybe we didnt get enough sleep so the brain forces us not to wake us up ourselves
