Bc I spent most of my childhood wanting to be an adult, now I wish I could go back in time, being a kid is so much better, I only realised that recently lol.

Turning 16 on my birthday kinda disappointed me because as a kid I thought everyone gets cars instantly and drives as much as they want, now I know that not all of my friends has cars.

16 and you have to get a driving permit (but pass a test first), and (in some states like the one I live in) you have to wait at least 6 months, then get your driving test (driving this time) and pass it to actually get your license. Back in my mom's day, the process was quicker than now (but she still had to pass the tests and legal age was also 16). I wish it wasn't this complicated :(

oh ok, here it’s 16 to get a drivers license, but to drive you need to be 17.

But if you're 18, you can take the driver's test regardless whether or not you had taken the test to get the permit (that's what I'm going to do)
