Animal Crossing New Horizons can be played on Nintendo Switch.
Animal Crossing New Leaf can be played on 3ds.
Animal Crossing City Folk can be played on the Wii.
Animal Crossing Wild World can be played on DS (and on 3ds due to backwards compatibility).
Animal Crossing can be played on the Game Cube.
Animal Forest (Which was in Japan only, I think.) can be played on the Nintendo 64.

And then there are the spin offs.
Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival can be played on the Wii U.
Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer can be played on the 3ds.
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp can be played on a mobile device.

Animal Crossing for the Gamecube contains NES games that you can play.
Animal Crossing Wild World is said to be the worst looking game in the series that isn't a spin off.
Animal Crossing City Folk and Wild World have some form of connectivity.
Animal Crossing New Leaf makes you the mayor of a town and has a lot of stuff that isn't in New Horizons as of now, such as Brewster.
Animal Crossing New Horizons finally allows you to place down furniture items, instead of making you choose from a selection of Public Works Projects like in New Leaf. New Horizons also has some missing features, such as deteriorating grass. New Horizons has constant updates, which should end 3 years after 20/3/2020. The game also has connectivity with Pocket Camp, which contains microtransactions.
