Actually they are not mostly black males unless you are including all of the inner city shootings in Detroit, Chicago, St Louis, New Orleans, etc. The majority of murders happen in those cities by a huge number. Take those cities out of our murder count and we go from around the top of the list of murders by nation to down near the bottom.
But there is one commonality in mass shooters outside of those cities and that is they are, by a huge majority, psychotic leftists. Some of them have even said they are fighting capitalism or that Democrat politician X is not communist enough. Others are just supporters of Democrat candidates or at least member of the Democrat party.
After that number the rest of Muslim terrorists and apolitical psychos. The number of conservatives, Republicans, Libertarian or any other right wing mass shooters so incredibly rare that it isn't worth mentioning. I don't know of any so I am just saying that statistically speaking there has be at least 1.
Leftists typically don't own guns so the leftist shooters by a huge number are using stolen firearms.
Also AR-15's are incredibly rare in mass shooting events or any other crime. The rifle of choice is the shotgun. The firearm most commonly used is the handgun.
That means banning assault weapons will do absolutely nothing to stop crime or mass shooters. Just like the last ban did nothing to stop crime and mass shootings.
