It costs money to keep a site up and running. Also people need to earn a living so they can have a home, food, clothes etc... So really yes. The owner of imgflip DOES just want money, but then don't we all? I know I do. If I could make money but putting up a site like this that would also bring fun and enjoyment to a large number of people I would do it. And if Mr. Wenzlau is making a crap load of money off of this site, then I am happy for him. I love to know people can be successful. There is too much said against financial success, and too little said to support ambitious efforts such as this site.
