I think you're getting the leaderboard mixed up with the front page... I haven't seen any upvote beggar on the leaderboard. Begging isn't worth it. Imgflip is about connecting with each other and trying to make each other laugh, trying to bring joy in people's lives. Sure, you might make it to the front page but, the post will die out and you'll get so much hate from the community. I'm trying to do you a favor by telling you to Stop Upvote Begging. But if you see this as some pointless grind to be number one, go ahead, but I warned you...
