The internet seems to confuse 'less popular than in the past' with 'dead'. There's still around 300 MILLION players, that is FAR from dead.

How tf does that mean the game is dead? Just because the players are toxic doesn't mean they don't exist. You don't have to like the game, but it isn't dead by any means.
