$1,900,000,000,000 / 330,000,000 = 5,757.57

$1.9 trillion divided by 330 million Americans = $5,757

Wherever that $14,329 number came from, they're counting less than 1/3rd of the people in the country.

I'll bet I know where that number came from. 33,000,000 is the total population. The $14,329 might come from the number of taxpayers. I don't know what that number is and I'm about to go to bed. If I think about it I'll look that number up tomorrow.

However, that would make the total number of taxpayers 132,598,227. 1.9 trillion ÷ 14,329 = 132,598,227.37106. I think there's probably more people paying taxes than that but I could be wrong.
