Reginald: "If you join me you dont get ruled by him"

nameless: nobody should have that much power nesssus. and as for you cutley, i dont need mansions. im a humble man

"then you get regular sized quarters. any sized quarters I can provide"
Daxos: "Everyone desires power, whether you realise it or not"

nameless: the war in my universe was way more intresting. real tactics, real fighting, a true reason to fight

Larocall: "so restoring order to the multiverse isnt a 'true reason to fight'?"
Erik: "and keeping the multiverse out of oppression isnt a true reason to fight either?"

nameless: oh i didnt know. is daxos still here

Erik and Larocall: "No just us"

"think of us as opposing nations looking to take you on as a spy. My names Reginald Cutley, I run the GUild. That-"
Daxos Nessus: "My names Daxos Nessus, how wonderful to meet you. I run the Faction, a superior group to the Guild"

secretary: "Reginald? hes backed up right now"
Reginald: "no need, this was predetermined."

nameless: i want to join the guild, but i make the rules

"yes 47?" he teleports them to his office

nameless: why am i called 47? also, here are the rules. i choose how to carry out my missions. i know more about war tactics than you. never mention me to anyone. not even people in the guild. nobody will know which side im on. if i die, give my belongings to dakota stormer. youve probably never heard of him but yeah.

"weve crossed paths on several occasions. and I suppose your terms are acceptable."

he shrugs "more or less. hes decided to take a neutral position in keeping the multiverse from the clutches of Daxos"

nameless; thats good. so yeah. you follow my rules, i fight for you

"great. ill give you your first assighnment tomorrow. one question, do you have any compunctions about infiltrating hell?"

nameless: no. i wont be staying in the guildhall because i need to keep myself secret.

"good. the token I gave you allows you to communicate with me telepathically"

nameless: uh about that. it wont work

nameless: something about me. where i come from, things like this dont exist. so it doesnt really work for me because it would completely destroy me

"oh . . . sounds like a boring place"

nameless: maybe, a place where all life is created equal. pitted against one another. each finds its own ways to stand out. but the opportunity is there for everyone and everything

"and? we have opprotunity here for everyone if they choosw to take it"

nameless: you dont get it. its about life. not just your little guild thing here. life where i come from is a battle. everything tries to outdo its neighbor. everything has the ability to be great, to stand out from the rest, to be a step above, to have the edge. it may take millions of years, but theres always a way to come out on top. no unfair advantages or supernatural powers. how can you call that boring

"Because supernatural powers, at least for most of us, is what we work towards to outdo everyone else. to be above. to rise from poverty to, well . . . this" he points at the Guildhall "I eorked for this. I fought for this. this is how I outdo everyone"

nameless: but youre born with those powers. what work did you do to get them.

he laughs "I was born a powerless commoner just like everyone from your realm. I had nothing but a few rags to keep me from freezing to death at night. Im not desended from gods, or born a demon like Daxos and others here. I earned this"

nameless: oh cool. but would you say your powers give you an unfair advantage? where i come from, everything is dictated under the same laws of physics

"when everyone has powers, everyone's powerless"

nameless: but your powers are more usefull than someone elses

"maybe, but Daxos and I . .. we have a long history, which almost makes this war harder"
