But here's a tip: talk to everyone who shares your general political affiliation (conservative, liberal, communist, whatever) and create a consensus party.
Last election 12 people ran and that really watered down the vote. A lot of people got like 6 votes. If people would all work together for the stream, they could get way more votes.

Sounds good. But like I said, try to make alliances and form a consensus party. Last time we had too many people running and it basically handed the election to someone who refused to campaign [in this stream] and just went crying to PoliticsToo & the imgflip military for votes.
