Baron was actually kicked out of a lot of countries for being gay.
George washington did do a lot that contributed, but at one point in the war, the troops didn't know what to do and kept acting up. Former pres. George needed help. They accepted Baron.
The reason you probably never heard of him was because of the fact he's gay.
