Lol I'm the exact opposite of you. I tend to try and use realistic proportions and use guidelines, gravity effects, light source and other minimal things that will help me get toward my goal be a semi realistic artist

What style are you aiming at

Mostly anime style, but I still follow the anatomy rules

Anime is the style I avoid to become because of the popularity and the fact that basic anime art wouldnt be much to sell. But I'm only talking about myself I've seen tons of extraordinary anime style if art.
