However, the movie ends with a optimistic note, stating that humanity truly has taken the 2010s too far

The alleged fraudster is elected and breaks the fourth wall by stating it will all end well. Meanwhile, the next ice age begins in the middle of the United States. Winter storms strike Texas. United States begins to send vaccinations to the pandemic, and disasters begin to less frequently strike.
