Novas: "...For reasons you don't want to know, I assume there's a corpse in there. You need it dealt with?"

Novas: "Alright then. If you decide you want my help I'll be glad to assist."

*Novas leans against a tree.*

???: Why you helping me?

Novas: "I... I don't even know. I just... want to."

???: Alright. Help me get rid of this go***mn body.

Novas: "Right."
*Novas steps into the shed and picks up the body with one hand.*
Novas: "I suggest covering its grave with state flowers, so it can't legally be unearthed."

Crimson: That's right.

*Novas grabs a shovel with his other hand.*

*He walks about a quarter mile away and buries the body. He moves a patch of the state flower on top of the grave.*

*Novas walks back.*

Novas: "...not gonna ask what happened to that guy."

Crimson: He stopped screaming when his spine came out. *grins and gets blood off hands*

Novas: "Cruel but effective. What'd he do, anyways?"

Crimson: Hurt my friend an killed multiple others.

*Novas nods.*

Novas: "Reason enough."

*Novas stares at Crimson.*

Novas: "I get the feeling you're... not human. Most humans can't just rip out people's spines."

Crimon: *snorts* You'd be surprised. But no, I'm not human.

Novas: "I'm guessing some kind of demon?"

Crimson: *nods*

Novas: "Interesting."

Novas: "In the technical sense I'm not human either..."

Crimson: Wdym?

*Novas takes a deep breath.*

*Claws grow from Novas' hands and his teeth elongate into fangs. A layer of fur covers his skin.*

Novas: "About a quarter of my DNA is from a race known as the Beasts."

Crimson: *circles you* Coolio.

*Novas changes back.*

Novas: "Yeah... the Beasts aren't exactly loved by society, so anyone that's part Beast normally hides it. The only one of my Beast powers I use commonly is my increased strength."

Crimson: I normally just use meh tentacles and my fear and pain powers.

Novas: "You seem like quite the horrifying enemy."

Crimson: *grins* I take pride in that.

*Novas laughs.*

Novas: "Meanwhile I take pride in having better hair then everyone I beat up."
