Something people get wrong about SCP-3008 is that it is safe class. It has 24-hour watch and no civilians are allowed in.

Object classes refer to the ease of containment.

Safe- if you could be the anomaly in a box and nothing happens, it’s safe

Euclid- if you put the anomaly in a box and it might break out, it’s Euclid

Keter- if you put the anomaly in a box and it will break out, it’s keter

Thaumiel- if the anomaly is a box , it’s thaumiel

Apollyon- if the anomaly could never be contained by any box, it’s Apollyon

That’s why 3008 is safe, it can’t really “break out of the box”
