I think I've come up with a good idea for an automatic slime farm. So in my survival world, I live in a ravine. I don't know what biome my ravine is in, mainly because there is a forest behind it, and a small plains in front of it. As far as I know, the ravine is not in a slime chunk. But it is very close to a swamp. I've found a place that the slimes seem to keep spawning in. Like, I'm not kidding. One night, I searched the swamp for slimes, and had no luck. But recently, a slime spawned in a small cave. And then the next day, another slime spawned there. So my plan is to make a 19 by 19 area around the cave, put an iron golem in the middle, make a protection area around the iron golem, then but hoppers around the protection area, an item filter around the hoppers, then place magma blocks all around the filter, then place water around the magma blocks, then signs to prevent the water flowing away from the magma blocks, then spam torches in the remaining area. Hopefully, this should work.
