To be honest, laser-tag is about as close to real training as they get most of the time. I don't know if you've seen but legit veterans have critiqued their gear and stance when they show up to rallies and whatnot, and overwhelmingly the expert consensus is that these guys are NOT militarily trained and are NOT well equipped for an actual combat situation.
