I_am_a_fax_machine I understand your opinion may be that it's offensive and makes someone feel like an object but when you look at a tree you refer to IT as an object even though it's a living organism. Or a dog or anything but a human. If a dog jumped at you then you'd say IT jumped at you. So it is used all the time to refer to a living organism it's just not used much to refer to humans. But of course, it is offensive to refer to someone as anything but their desired pronouns so you are partially correct because most people would not like to be called "It"; -AZZY
