Deja vu is when you think something has already happened to you but are not entirely sure AND that something is happening again right now.

It's kind of like having an intuition about what happened in the past to help deal with the present. So that makes deja vu a form of precognition.

from my experiences deja vu seams to happen like a vision or a dream you know you have seen it before but you dont know why its like you made a production of the future.
one way i have thought about it and i came up with a theory why it exists i think that it might be a way for the universe to to tell an individual that they are on the right path
