Of course it is, The more users we have the more chance someone will buy a premium Imgflip and therefore will generate income which can be use to upgrade Imgflip more and make Imgflip grow...

I like the small-town vibe this place gives off.

It might benefit you for now, but not for a very long time, The more users notice that Imgflip is not as big as other sites they might transfer to other software therefore making Imgflip smaller and smaller until it reaches it's Downfall...
