He DID execute a man extrajudicially for a crime that doesn't even carry the death penalty.

Even by your version of the story, in which by sheer coincidence he just happened to be o/ding right at this exact moment, that's still an officer putting a knee on his neck while he is having a medical emergency. THAT'S MISCONDUCT. And being a piece of shit is not something you get executed in the street for in this country - you're allowed to do it, aren't you? Where's the knee on your neck?

I will NEVER stop saying it: we are NOT a police state and the police ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MURDER PEOPLE ON THE STREETS for crimes that have not been proven in court.

You might wanna watch this. It shows that the situation with George Floyd wasn’t as simple as you and everyone else making it out to be. I agree the Officer should’ve realized he had his knee on the man’s neck when he and the other officers had decided to subdue George Floyd on the ground when he threw himself out the other side of the police cruiser. I’m not saying this absolves the officers of any wrongdoing on their part, just that George’s erratic behavior didn’t the situation for himself at all.

The OP and the comment thread still want to make excuses for him, and you wonder why people are still furious?

No, they are furious because they only see what they want to see

And yet, it’s still not the truth

And reading this dribble you refer to, still has no bearing on guilt or innocence. But keep biting that pillow.

I’m not making excuses for the officer, hence why I said it doesn’t absolve him of how he handled the situation. He should be punished for it and I think he and the other officers involved were anyway.

Then what else is there to talk about?

Idk, context maybe?

The context is America's long history of police brutality and civil rights. If you want the context to be about anything else - well, that's pretty much the source of the anger right there.

My 12 year old watched the whole tape and said he didn’t think the cop did anything wrong. I agree with him. George Floyd was a monster who got exactly what was coming to him. The world is better off. Good riddance.

Oh, well, a 12 yr old, I'm sold. F**k you are a horrible person raising the next geration of horrible people

And I’m raising him with a never- incarcerated, fentanyl and meth-free married mother and father in the house...a non-bastard sister who is also the product of his parent’s marriage, and with no public assistance to do it. Something else George Floyd couldn’t do.

So when your son and daughter marry, what side of the aisle will you sit, side of the groom or the bride

Hahaha! Right? Because staying drug-free, out of jail, off public assistance, married to the same woman for 27 years and having kids who aren’t bastards is what liberals think leads to inbreeding.
