The My Pillow guy is crazy, Mr. Potato head was made more diverse, the Dr. Seuss company was removing stereotypical images from some of his older books that were offensive to other races, There's a whole list on why Aunt Jemima is racist, and Gina Carano was giving false facts about the holocaust, and her tweets denigrated people based on their cultural and religious identities.

I Guess some just get a pass?

I never said they got a pass. Has what they said and done been taken out of context by most people, yes. Did they apologize for what they did, yes.

No ones perfect. And we will all have different views. But if your views are crazy and somewhat offensive, then you will get backlash like Gina Carano, or the mypillow guy, or the people you sent to me

They did get a pass though. And no one is perfect so no one should throw stones at glass houses. This cancel culture and attacking people cause of their personal views is ridiculous. Especially these days when people are looking at any little thing to be offended by.

But, Dr. Seuss had stereotypical images in his books. So I feel like people should have the right to be offended by that. And Aunt Jemima's origins were based on the image of a former slave and black face

So I feel that some people with brains might be offended with that stuff

Took them long enough to get offended by those things...

You honestly think that people weren't offended by these before? It only took the companies years to finally change. And nobody even got mad at Mr. Potato head, they just made it more diverse

And everyone is just ok with this stuff cause Disney puts up a disclaimer? So if Dr. Seuss put up a disclaimer too then it would be ok? Only certain people and certain companies get attacked while others don’t based on political stances ...

At least Disney and Dr. Seuss fixed their mistakes. And Disney didn't get a pass, people were still angry at them. They got rid of the black centaur and they like completely erased Song of the South.

Disney didn’t get any where near the backlash as some of the others did. And most of the offensive things is still on Disney but they just have a disclaimer saying how it was wrong then and it’s wrong now. But because it’s Disney and because of how much they control it gets swept under the rug... Some face bigger backlashes then others. Imagine if Trump said “Come on man if you don’t know if you’re for me or Biden then you ain’t black”?... Every news station and every late night host would be all over that. Roseanne Barr made a stupid ass comment that she shouldn’t of made but an apology didn’t matter. The media only selects certain people and companies that they target based on political stances and it’s crazy to say they don’t.
