Im gonna be honest with you... I only played the 8-bit version so thats hard to explain... but from what I understand he used to be a security guard which was killed by Freddy and the other animatronics, Soon after killing said Guard he was Turned into a purple guy... However in the fandom he was golden bonnie (Spring trap). Once Golden Freddy and Spring trap were shut down to be replaced by the new animatronics (Freddy, bonnie, Chico, and foxy) Spring trap broke and turned into purple guy while golden Freddy stayed in the back room only to come active time to time to kill the NEW Guard as a result of Revenge for replacing them (and purple guy just try to kill every one...)
