I kinda find it depressing that here in Queensland (Australia) you literally can't express your feelings for foxes without the federal police banging on your door and asking for up to $60000 AUD (around $46000 USD and no, I am not making that number up that it literally the fine lol). This is why I have always been so sad (no, I am not about to turn this into a rant about mental health). While yes, Australia is a great country with free, high quality healthcare and almost no CoronaExtra™, it honestly sucks having to keep some of your normal and morally acceptable feelings secret. Instead, they encourage hunting, poisoning and generally awful things to be placed upon innocent foxes. People will just have to face the opinion of many others who have been muffled and are otherwise too scared to express it without the government financially and mentally ruining you which by itself is enough to make suicide rates go up. The opinion that no fox deserves to die and that they are always portrayed as cunning, pests or generally just a nuisance. Sorry for the long rant, but these are kind of the reasons why I honestly hate it here and would rather live in the US of A where they actually allow freedom of speech.
