I'll explain lol... The father only corrected his son on his grammar & he missed the opportunity to tell him "Yes son, you did a great job catching the ball", implied at top of meme as well kinda.. Father says "remember what I taught you." Sometimes as parents we tend to criticize first & later on we end up remembering the things we should have said. I'm not perfect by any means lol..... the meme is just supposed to point out those little things we miss as parents & fail at sometimes & it's funny to look back on those moments.
