I don't know how many times you need to hear it, but... Direct democracy never works

1. In a direct democracy, a vote actually counts.
2. Government officials can be immediately recalled in a direct democracy.
3. A direct democracy creates a society that is generally happy.
4. A direct democracy allows people to control their quality of life.

So lets say there are 2 wolves and 1 sheep. They decide to vote on what's for dinner, and the two wolves vote to eat the sheep. The sheep objects, but since it's a majority rule, he gets eaten. Also, you can control the quality of your life if you work hard, and direct democracies making happier is completely subjective

so your saying in normal democracy the sheep still wont be eaten

Nah, in a constitutional republic that uses STV, you won't get a mob rule with 51% controlling the 49%

Why? Its the same principles, just simplified. If one vote is more popular then the other, the more popular vote wins. Isn't that how they have elected the president for 200 years?

Oh, you must be dense. People elect representatives to vote in the elections, not the main body of citizens. Learn how the electoral college works before you try to debate it ;)

Those representatives can be corrupt you know, and I know for a fact that includes you :)

Of of course, in a direct democracy nobody would ever take advantage of it. And how am I corrupt? Because I listened to the people and impeached Kamikaze?
