Me too. My chromebook has a lock button where the power button is. But surprisingly I never have this problem. I need to hold it down to lock it though.

Once I was in the middle of a zoom meeting and I meant to erase something I was gonna say in the chat and I locked my computer on accident so when my teacher asked “why’d you leave” I just said I got disconnected ;-;

Chrome fixed this. If you have one of the newer ones, like I do (Acer R 11), if you accidentally click it, it fades- it's hard to explain, but only if you press and hold it shuts down. Reply if you know what I mean

Me who has only had this happen to me once, because im good at typing (jk you should see the amount of typos i make). No, I've only had this happen to me once, because my chromebook brings up a small thing that has the options to power off, sign out, lock, and a feedback option. usually i can stop before i power off.
