Yes. Over a hundred cops were injured in the insurrection. Trump's terrorists beat them, threw things at them and tried to stab them with flag poles. They will pay for their crimes in a court of law over the next year. Most will plead out for lighter sentences and roll on their fellow terrorists. The leaders of the insurrection have nothing to lose by going to court, so those trials won't take place for a few years from now. Regardless, the lives lost on January 6th, 2021 due to Trump's attempt to overthrow the nation cannot ever be replaced. The lives irrevocably damaged because they believed Trump would pardon them will go on for decades.
