Poppy: Poppy is a theater kid. She's very friendly and outgoing, and always takes on problems with a positive attitude.
Tony: Tony is shy, but optimistic. He prefers to doodle in his sketchbook rather than socialize with friends. Despite being embarrassed about performing on stage, Tony is a great storyteller and likes to share tales of exciting experiences with his friends.
Liam: Liam is friendly, funny, and clever. He's a serious superhero fan, too. All he watches are superhero movies. His friends have learned to get used to it whenever they come over for sleepovers and movie parties.
Lea: Lea is not actually a squid. She's a jellyfish named Alexandra. Lea wears a hat made out of synthetic tentacle fabric, light peach makeup for her face, and black makeup around her eyes. None of her octoling or inkling friends know this.
Lea is still a great friend, with a loud and cheerful personality.
Monica: Monica is not the nicest person. She's the "bad girl" type, and she's also kind of rude. Of course, all the boys are in love with her, but she hates them all except for Tony.
Cornelia: Cornelia is a very kind person, and a bit like Lea. She's often teased and bullied, but she doesn't let that get to her. She stands up for her friends and is very loyal and honest.
