There is a difference between furry and anthro based video game characters.
They had the bandanna and very old trendy stuff back in the nineties, presuming that may have been the time Ricardo shot this video, due to the status of the camera.
Funky Kong was developed in the late 90's, (1994 was his actual release date for Mariokart '64. God knows why Nintendo lied about a game that had a 90's character developed.)
