AS THE CULTURE CHANGES, WHAT ARE CULTS DOING, HOW IS BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY DIFFERENT, AND SHOULD WOMEN HEAD A CHURCH? So many cults founded by man, like Mormonism and its Community of Christ branch, have run into cultural pressures over time. Instead of sticking to their supposed truth, they have opted to claim “new messages from God.” To attract more followers, they attempt to meet everyone’s need, becoming all things to all people. They continually conform their beliefs and practices to the current culture. Biblical Christianity does not do that because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever; His Bible never changes. During the women's liberation movement, Community of Christ decided women could be ordained into the Mormon priesthood, allowing flawed feminism to easily alter their flexible beliefs. Unfortunately, we see the same pliability in parts of the Christian Church today as society bucks against male leadership in the home and Church. Cults simply throw out the latest lie about getting some new message from God. But even in the Christian Church today, people say things like, "Hey, the Apostle Paul was against women so we can just discount what he said about female headship.” Like it or not, God has always had male headship in the Christian
Church. That isn’t my idea. It’s God’s example from the Bible. | image tagged in cult, bible, church, women, leader, god | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
