Nice, always wanted to visit there. US politics is a shit show but I'm in Canada so its entertaining until its crazy - there are few equivalents here.

Canada looks spectacular in photos although a bit nippy at this time of year I suspect !

We have rules and we have government advice - which can change on a daily basis !
Since the beginning of covid we have had about 65 contradictory changes to what we can or should do. Nobody knows what is happening :~)

It really depends on where you are - west coast is best, but further inland the temp drops by quite a lot. Exciting politics is what we don't want, at least not the shitshow in the USA where the folks with the most 'likes' get elected - not smart. Yeah our covid response is what it is, with some changes. I can appreciate the challenge - wanting to provide direction without making it hard rules that impact human rights. At least here they are doing it sensibly anot not by 'herd immunity'! Are trying putting any 'at risk' people under effective 'house arrest' (Lockdown) and they are slowly vaccinating that older population - Herd immunity is being mentioned ... Eek !

Well out here the big announcement was that India donated 500k vaccines to us ;) hows the tables turning. I've never seen so many healthy people out here, nobody wants to let go a cough or sniffle for fear of ... missing work? Yeah busy here but am sure some folk are suffering too. Feel pretty lucky - when they say most people don't show symptoms or are fighting it I always wonder if we already had it.

I agree about people never being so healthy here - I am so lucky that I live in a rural area in the south of England and I talk to just about everyone I meet on my daily walkies,
The common theme is that most think they have had it albeit with mild symptoms.
I personally lost my sense of taste and smell back from last April - It's not much of a problem !
