Shadow:May I tell you an interesting fact about the flora and fauna of my home planet?

Jade; Sure

Shadow:Well ok then, the fact is that all plants are bio-luminescent and there's a cave in the village I grew up in, well it has these giant crabs that live there. We usually let them slumber, can't wake them up from their rest anyways, many try to chip away the precious crystals on their backs, many lose their lives doing so. In fact, in colder districts like I'm from, those kinds of crabs are very common.

Jade; Your world sounds interesting

Shadow:Well, it works like a room that can be programmed into a way you want it, it can only be accessed via portal. The portals are usually placed somewhere that can be accessed, they usually are coded into a terrain..It's really all I can explain how they work without making it sound complexier than it already is.

Jade: Oh, my mansion is basically whatever I want it to be

Shadow:*nods slowly in understanding* I see, so it works just like the void my kind uses instead of homes. Sure we have buildings but...That's just because we can't have a portal in the middle of nowhere, there has to be a structure. In fact, every Void Raven gets their own void from their parents at the age of 5. Unless their of the genderless variant like myself, then we get it at the age of 3. Age, isn't what is on Earth. I can tell you that for sure.
