hate is something that you in your head everyday in a way that is full of rage, a feeling that makes you want to kill, a feeling that makes you lose control of your own self.

hate is also something that you don't like so much that it can fill part of your heart with darkness, in a metaphorical sense.

what you are describing is simply just not liking something. If you really did hate the LGBTQ community, you would more than likely had a terrible experience with them, like one killed your whole family or something

also, you shouldn't hate something just because its a part of your religion. If something didn't affect you in a way that threatens your life or endangers you in any way, you can't hate something/ someone

if something also negatively changes your life forever, you could argue in having a sense of hatred there too
