Have you ever seem the sign “No shirt, No shoes, No service?”...yeah, that’s not a law. It’s a standard that’s been adopted by businesses to prevent hippies and homeless people that stretches back to the 60s and 70s. But there are laws on the books that allow businesses to “discriminate” against shirtless and/or barefoot people.
Think of Twitter’s terms of service (or TOS) as a ‘No shirt, No shoes, No service” sign.
